The Pearson Foundation helps local partners deliver education-focused programs and support outside the classroom. We work together with leading non-profit organizations to provide locally-managed educational support for young people and adults in communities around the world.

Our community focused partnerships include:

The Citi-FT Financial Education Summit

The Citi-FT Financial Education Summit is the most significant international conference ever held to discuss ways to increase financial literacy levels, especially among disadvantaged and low-income groups. Organized by Citi, the Pearson Foundation, and the Financial Times, and sponsored by the Citi Foundation and co-sponsored by IFC – the private-sector arm of the World Bank, this year’s Summit served almost 300 community-based representatives from across Southern Asia.

Intel Computer Clubhouse Network

The Intel Computer Clubhouse Network is a international collection of after-school community centers that brings computers and related technology directly to young people in almost 100 underserved communities around the world. A safe environment where young people can learn and share new ideas, each Computer Clubhouse is also a creative place where youth, mentors, and staff use technology as a tool for learning and creative expression. Together with Intel, the Pearson Foundation has developed a custom library of resources and learning materials for global use by members.
